Anita Birges uses only a few household items to eliminate the bottle's grime
She uses a simple combination of uncooked rice, dishwashing liquid and water
She simply shakes the mixture up and tips it out to reveal a spotless water bottle

An interior stylist has shared her helpful hack for cleaning stainless steel water bottles and removing any built up mould from inside.
She first begins by pouring one third of a cup of uncooked rice into a stainless steel water bottle.

Next she squeezes only a small amount of dishwashing liquid into the bottle full of uncooked rice.
Anita tops the rice and dishwashing liquid with half a cup of water and then screws the stainless steel water bottle lid on tightly.
She then shakes up the water bottle full of rice and soap thoroughly to eliminate the mouldy interior.
